Shinoxcy are an Irish all-female sketch comedy group consisting of Sinead Lynch, Alice Boland and Lucy Montague-Moffatt. They have been gigging around Ireland since 2009 and performed their original hour long show as part of the Dublin ABSOLUT Fringe in 2010.

Their mysterious name comes from the ancient Greek word Shinoxcy, meaning 'Female Empowerment'. This very coincidental because it is also the name of all their grandmothers.

They are currently working towards bringing their surreal-style comedy to The Edinburgh fringe this year. They are all very excited about this, none more so than their life-size stuffed unicorn friend, who just won't shut up about it.
